Suchý vrch – lookout tower and restaurant
The Suchý vrch lookout tower, which is part of Kramář's cottage, was originally built as a water tower, which was built in the years 1931-1932 according to the design of architect A. Patrmann. The lookout tower is made of concrete and its shape resembles a mushroom. The tower of the lookout tower is 33 m high. The Suchý vrch lookout tower is accessible all year round. In the summer months, the Suchý vrch lookout tower is a destination for hiking trips, and in the winter, a cross-country skiing paradise with tens of kilometers of regularly maintained cross-country trails.
Červenovodské sedlo is located in the southeastern tip of the Orlické hory called Bukovohorská hornatina about 2 km south of its highest peak Suchý vrch, 7 km southwest of the town Králíky and 7.5 km east of the town Jablonné nad Orlicí. Its altitude is 814 meters and lies between the peaks Prostřední vrch and Jeřáb. From the geomorphological point of view, it separates two parts of the main, the so-called Orlič ridge, namely the northern Suchovršské and southern Bukovohorský ridges.
Swimming pool Jablonné nad Orlicí
The area of the swimming pool includes the natural swimming pool itself (size approx. 30x70 m), which provides an opportunity for fitness and relaxation swimming, as well as for water games. The area includes a paddling pool for the youngest children (5.8 x 12 m) and a playground, all surrounded by a grassy area with mature trees. The area is equipped with benches.
Swimming pool Ruda nad Moravou
The swimming pool in Ruda provides space for pleasant summer recreation for the whole family. More or less able swimmers will enjoy themselves thanks to the 40 x 15-meter large swimming pool. The extensive area of the swimming pool provides enough space for a quiet rest and for sports activities with the possibility of renting sports equipment.
The Marian pilgrimage site Hora Matky Boží is located above the town of Králíky near the state border with Poland, below Kralický Sněžník. A monumental Baroque monastery with the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, cloisters, the Chapel of the Holy Steps, a spring, a cemetery and a pilgrimage house on Mariánské Hill above the town of Králíky.
Holba Hanušovice Brewery and Museum
In 1874, the brewer Josef Mullschitzký founded a modern steam brewery in Hanušovice. The company that operated it was named “Brauerei von Mullschitzký & Comp. zu Hannsdorf - Halbseit “. The museum interestingly maps the development of brewing in the Hanušovice region. You will see historical exhibits - tools and equipment that were once used in the production of beer.
Artillery stronghold Bouda
The Museum of Czechoslovakian fortifications – the artillery fortification BOUDA (Baudenkoppe) and the Fortification museum – the artillery fortification HŮRKA (Berghöhe). These two museum objects administered by our association are the two biggest fortification constructions from the thirties of the 20th century, which are open to the public in the Czech Republic. They belong to the project “Grulich Fortification Area”, in the frame of which this unique military-technical and historical monuments are taken care of so that they shall remain.
Brewery with restaurant Černý medvěd
The history of the house U Černého Medvěda dates back to the end of the 16th century. The house at the beginning of the 19th century served as a farmhouse. It is the biggest pride of the town monument zone in Jablonné nad Orlicí.
The facility is equipped with a swimming pool, a paddling pool, two spiral chutes (79m and 83m long), a kamikaze (50m long), a sandpit for kids, a whirlpool bathtub and a little pool with heated water for toddlers. Sports fans can enjoy beach volleyball, streetball, table tennis and aerobics.
Handmade paper mill Velké Losiny
Unique area major monuments which particularly for more than four centuries of continuity of traditional handmade paper production have no parallel on the whole central Europe. In 2002 the Government of the Czech Republic declared it a national monument.
The indoor and outdoor pool with water slides and other water attractions underwent a complete renovation in 2020. You can also relax in the wellness and sauna world.
Museum of Crafts Letohrad
The museum includes more than 50 compound expositions of crafts and trades from the period 1840 - 1930. Apart from relatively known professions such as a joiner or a woodcutter, the work of a tinsmith (an extrusion man), a wheelwright, a cooper, a shingle maker and many others are presented here. The most interesting exhibits are carved mechanical open-air museum of crafts, mechanical workshops, an exposition of sawmill with three functioning frame saws and exposition of a schoolroom with folk costumes. After the tour around the museum the visitors can sit down in a stylish Restaurant Novy Dvur, which is placed in the same building as the museum.
